Tori Spelling is facing criticism for her recent appearance in a two-piece swimsuit. Online users found the look unflattering and speculated she used enhancement procedures to achieve her slender physique. The photos surfaced after she admitted to using weight loss medication.
All dressed up for a day at the beach in Malibu, California, the 51-year-old “Beverly Hills, 90210” star was seen having fun in the sun on Tuesday, July 2. Photos of her in a neon green bikini prompted numerous reactions online from unimpressed observers.
Tori’s neon swimwear left little to the imagination, accentuating her slender figure and displaying her cleavage and rib cage. Her bikini bottom highlighted her flat stomach and the piercings on her hip.
Adding some flare to her beachwear, the mother of five accessorized with chic sunglasses, a gold necklace, and a body chain around her midriff. Besides taking a dip in the ocean, Tori also tanned with her friend, Laura Rugetti, who wore a zebra-print one-piece and a white wide-brimmed hat.
Reports indicate that the two friends spent over two hours at the beach. Tori’s fit physique did not go unnoticed by the public. However, instead of praise, many criticized her for not achieving her shape naturally and expressed disdain toward her appearance.
“Let’s be honest, it’s called plastic surgery,” remarked a Facebook user. Another agreed, adding, “[She] literally has no belly button!” Writing in all caps, someone else exclaimed, “NOT A GOOD LOOK.” An Instagram user echoed, “That doesn’t look good.” Another observer urged, “Sorry girl…use a [cover-up].”
One particularly strong critic asserted, “She’s had many babies. That photo has likely been retouched or she’s had work done. This is why other women end up thinking that they don’t look ok.”
Amid the criticism, some defended Tori, praising her look in the neon bikini. “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania commented, “She looks amazing.” Another admirer wrote, “This is the best I’ve seen her look in a really long time.”
Despite the belief that Tori used plastic surgery to enhance her figure, she has been honest about using weight loss medication. Page Six shared images of Tori at the beach, noting, “Tori Spelling showed off her slimmed-down figure after confirming she used Ozempic and Mounjaro to shed pounds following the birth of her son Beau.”
In April 2024, the “True Tori” star made this confession on her podcast “Misspelling.” “I did Mounjaro and everyone admits it now. I tried Ozempic and it didn’t work for me,” she admitted. Ozempic and Mounjaro are diabetic medications used to treat type II diabetes, but many celebrities use them for weight loss.
Explaining her choice, Tori revealed, “It’s a different time, so I don’t feel ashamed saying that. I couldn’t lose the baby weight … I was lucky enough that with four of my babies, I lost the baby weight afterward.”
The 51-year-old highlighted how fortunate she was before using diabetic medications, as she didn’t enjoy working out or drinking water but stayed naturally thin. “My whole life I didn’t diet. I was born with really good genes,” she previously disclosed.
Tori shared that her heaviest weight was 120 pounds, which climbed to 160 pounds after welcoming Beau. Struggling to lose weight, she consulted her doctor, who informed her that age was a factor; she was 44 at the time.
She claimed that eating protein, working out, and trying different diets didn’t work. One day, while receiving hormone treatment for menopause, Tori decided to try weight loss medication.
After trying Ozempic without success, she switched to Mounjaro and achieved her desired results. However, Tori confirmed she has stopped using the drug. “I’m no longer on it but I did lose weight. I haven’t been on it since end of January. I did go off of it because I didn’t want to lose too much weight,” she stated.
In addition to discussing weight loss medication, Tori boasted about maintaining her lady parts’ integrity despite delivering all five of her children via C-section.
